The NEW Hidden Agenda

I spent the last two nights with 3 extremely talented dudes painting some walls at Hidden Agenda. GEEZ it was a total blast! I was very honored to be asked to do this as it is my favorite live music venue in this fantastic city. If you haven't been there yet, then there is something wrong with you since they have the sweetest bands coming to play there weekly (or even more frequently).

Here is a picture of my wall...

Richard's Wall

Ross' Wall

Dustin's Wall

This dude is mega freakin talent!

If it weren't for these South African lads Hong Kong would not be as amazing as it is... and let's face it - it's pretty freakin' amazing! I had such fun with these guys painting and lovin life.

I HIGHLY recommend heading down to Star Crossed and picking up some super rad artwork for your own walls.

I will be making prints as well within the next 2 weeks, so keep an eye out for those!

Star Crossed Tattoo

Star Crossed Tattoo has been home to some extremely talented artists, including myself (JK, I sucked). However, it is Hong Kong's leading shop. With an emphasis on hygiene and pushing the limits with custom work it is one of the only places in Hong Kong I recommend if looking to get some work done.

If you live in Hong Kong or plan on visiting, Star Crossed is a must visit shop. Not only are the current artists fully skilled they are also friendly and fun. The staff is very polite and you will not be disappointed with the quality of work.

After the sad departure of JULIA SEIZURE...

Star Crossed was taken over by two humble South African artists

If you would like to see more work done by any of these artists, please click on the photos or names above them.

Star Crossed Tattoo is located at 57 Granville Road, 2/F, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
Open Daily (except Wednesdays) from 3-9pm

Contact them at 3427 3820

Ring of Fire

...is what you might have if you were at the party at my place yesterday...

Just in the midst of cleaning up from Mon's Chilli Con Carnivale. Quite a success.... We had fun, food, friends. We had games and gadgets. But most of all we had CHILLI!!!!

One of the games we had was guess how many Chilis...
Winner was Calvin
he won a box of Mon's next chocolates...

The loser was Josh Wong, his punishment - eating a spicy chilli.
There were some good costumes. Mon in her fabulous Carnival get-up, and Andrew in his 'mexican gardener outfit'.

The south africans got very colorful as a trio of Brazilian party-goers.

Bandito Zane-o

Next event was 'pin the drugs on the mexican'. was pretty good, Bessie was our big winner of that one. No prize unfortunately.

Pinata was the the last game. It took a very super long time to break the thing. I broke off the string a bunch, so it finally it became pinata baseball.

Rich broke this bad boy open...

The night then escalated into a visual/musical spectacular..

featuring mainly Rich and Ross...

Sans Controle

Well, the Poubelle CD release show was quite a success! A very big production and quality at that! A lot going on and even more fun was had...

first things first. I got there pretty early to start setting up (and thank God I did since it took so long). The three artists were Matt Baily AKA NML, Shann Larsson, and myself.

Here is my ghetto tour of the art side of things (minus one painting that Shann brought later on).

Poubelle took the stage and were dead on. They played really well and had lots of fun up there.
The stage was done up with cool white sheets stretched all over the place, hard to explain without a decent picture.

About half way through the set a puppet show came on to 'mimic' the band... was pretty freaking funny actually. The puppet show was also projected on a screen behind them as to not miss a single dance move.

The night continued to escalate until I got very drunk and then the night just got blurry.

and this is how it ended.

Rock Lobster

Went in to the ol' Star Crossed today to finish up my latest leg addition. Done by the one and only Rich Phipson (thanks again bru-seph)

This is probably the worst picture of a tattoo anyone has taken anywhere, so when I get a better one, I must post it eh?

anyways, very stoked with it!

Gonna check out this show on Saturday, there is one on friday too, but I'm pretty keen to check out the Hard Rock Cafe here that just opened up...

yuk, not looking forward to heading back to work after a couple of holidays....
