tattoo session number R2

Alright so we have finished off mr.R2D2... Really stoked with how it turned out! Very happy with the choice of colors. Ross did a very awesome job.... I was whining a bit (like a girl, cause that's what girls do - whine.) Anyways happy with the end result.

... going back tomorrow to get another sweet piece! Richard is gonna "chop" me this time, until then.

Disneyland of the Lost

We had an awesome weekend at Disneyland Hong Kong. I've been there once before, but this time was more fun. It may be cheesy and smaller than your average Disneyland, but it is still loads of fun...

Disneyland has the Halloween special on right now, so there was haunted houses and 'spooky' crap all over.

Train ride there..

My favorite area of disneyland....

...it's got Autopia!

inn the middle of the park.

the castle got spooky at night!

part of the night parade...

I took about a million photos.... but you don't get to see them!

Anyways, I've heard many times from people that HK disneyland is crap and you shouldn't go, but I disagree and recommend it!

Leaving in a couple hours to go get R2D2 finished off, pictures will be sure to follow!

g(r)eek party

Had a little shindig at the house just this last weekend. Greek food, greek games and drinks. Was a fun night with a good turn out. Anyways pretty straight forward night, not much to blog about, had too many drinks and convos with too many people.

In other news, my buddies down at Star Crossed Tattoo are hosting a halloween night. There will be free tattoos from 2-9, followed by a showing of Evil Dead. SWEET! you should definitely go by the shop if you got nothing to do, or even if you have something to do, blow it off and hand out with some cool dudes!

here is the flash they will be doing...

what a trooper

It;s been a little while since I blogged in a serious manner. So i've been busy lately with my NEW JOB and all. I started work at a place called QQ club. It's an education center that has many different classes for many different things. I am in the arts department. I am now a friggin' art teacher. It's a pretty sweet deal, I get to paint and make models and draw all day. I spend my breaks making material and demos for the kids to do. It's really fun because I get to do stuff that I would have loved to have done when I was a kid.

Here is a picture of the center... not my classroom but you get the idea.

In other news, my mom and my sister got me an awesome life-sized head of a storm trooper that is actually a coin bank. AWESOME!

The other day I meet up with an old buddy from high school, Kento from Chochukmo, and we have started a band (along the lines of mars volta/portugal. the man). I'm really excited about that, starting to sound really cool!

Lastly I am currently drinking Molson Canadian beer and getting ready for a greek party at our house tonight. Pics to come.

Peace.

9 Maps

A few days ago I had the privilege of hearing 9 maps play at the Wanch. Such an awesome band. Reminded me of a band that should be on Saddle Creek records. They played beautiful music. you should check them out here - 9 maps. Definitely one of HK's best mellower bands and the one girl shreds on the keyboard.

here you can see a video of one of my fav songs.

in a bit of a pickle

I bought this book for doing watercolor paintings in the other day. Decided I want to do a butt load of paintings and sell them off.... This is my first attempt with watercolors, I think it turned out alright.

Also, my buddy Paul Chan gave me the idea to start doing shoes and selling those as well. Found a place near my house that sells tons of shoes.
...did some for myself to get things started. Yet another poke ball but with the addition of a death star!
