The not-so-animated Disappointment

Checked out the Anime/Comic/Toy fair at HKCEC. Was fairly average to poor. Next to zero comics and almost all toys and cosplay crap. Which sounds cooler than it is. It wasn't a total waste, we got to see some people dressed up in ridiculous costumes...

Plenty more girls like this rocking the wigs...

a fair amount of books

Checked out the Hong Kong Book Fair last week. Was pretty cool, chalked full of books and a few hidden gems. The English book sections were fair enough.

who wants to go to other place?

Was very packed, this picture does no justice to the fullness of the huge hall it took place in. At some points during the day I was getting rather annoyed.

found one stall that had amazing books, I wanted to buy everything they had, but didn't. It had loads of neat design books - check it - www.basheer.com.hk/.

The Hong Kong Book fair runs until the 26th and is at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in Wan Chai. It is 25$ to get in or 10$ before 12 noon.

The day after the fair ends the Comic Fair begins! VERY KEEN!
