Ocean Park and the Braai-B-Q

A group of us had the last wednesday off and decided to mossy on down to Ocean Park.

Was a beautiful day for walking until our legs turned to jelly...

whilst in the park, ross found a spot to set up a new shop.

we ferris wheeled. Pretty rad view from here I gotta say.

The Dragon roller coaster was shut down for the day much to our dismay. 

We also found out that all of the Halloween stuff opened at night and required a different ticket, which was a little gay. This was a laser tag zombie hunting game, looked amazing.

had a little seal show, and after a few more rides we decided to tap out.

Good thing we did! as we were leaving- FLOODS of people coming into the park for the Night Tickets. Even though we didnt get to enjoy all the halloween vibes, still probably best we left when we did.

a kiff Braai-B-Q ended the night. 

Mike took us to a sweet little outta the way spot in Stanley where we braai-ed it up...

Weekend Update

So not many pics from Zane's BBQ extravaganza. Got pretty lazy I think.

BBQ was good, had some nice steaks, more meats, and some Hookah.

Bought Vader the other day, he is old and kinda falling apart, but he is a good size and well made.

Going to Intheircaves at the Hong Kong Art Center. It's an art show my colleague/buddy is in. It opens tonight, so just about to leave. Just got back from booking a trip for easter holidays.

Going to Manila!! Word! Should be pretty great. Also just realized we are heading to Bobby D. In 2 days!

Kiffmas in Sai Kung

I've spent the last 3 days in Sai Kung. Did a Christmas Eve with Zane's family a.k.a the Strouds. That was some tasty eats! Polished some wine/beer had a nice cold hang out on the roof. Was a short-ish night as to prepare for the Christmas day ahead. Christmas day was spent at the Star Crossed homestead. We did a bbq and had some drinks played some hacky sac, opened awesome gifts and hung out on the roof. After the day of too much fun we went down to a bar around the corner for some pool and white russians (the drink, not the tall communists). Had a good sleep then arose to boxing day at Zane and Paul's bachelor pad! In the evening a boxing day party commenced. Was a real fun time as well. Despite being tired we got to play some 'Cock band' aka Rock Band then did a podcast with all of the guests for Paul Chan's Movie Podcast. You can check that out here at ThisIsBatCountry. Was really dumb but alot of fun. Had a nice BBQ there as well. So the whole Christmas break was great full of BBQs, South Africans and Sai Kung roof tops/balconies.

Meat Coma and Arnold Overdose

Yesterday was Gabe's birthday. In honor of his age increase we went over to his house to have a BBQ. It was FULL of meat. Awesome but I ate way too much...

After the bbq and quite a few drinks we started an Arnold Schwarzenegger marathon as it's one of Gabe's favorite retarded voices he likes to mimic.

Since I was broke and couldn't afford to buy a gift for him, I painted him a picture of the terminator. I am glad I did cause it made me want to start to paint more, it's been far too long.

Today we had band practice as we will be playing our last show before Greg and Lindie leave to go back to Canada. We are planing on recording 2 more songs for the show...
